Coronavirus in India Live Updates: PM Modi to share video message at 9 am

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to make his first video address following the announcement of the 21-day lockdown on March 24.

"At 9 AM tomorrow morning, I will share a small video message with my fellow Indians," the prime minister tweeted, without divulging the subject of his message.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said via Twitter that he will address the nation at 6am on Friday morning. "Tomorrow I will send a video message to the countrymen," he tweeted on Thursday. 

According to sources, reports received from the chief ministers of the states and addressing the state of the states are addressed by the PM.

 On Thursday, the Prime Minister held a video conferencing with the state ministers.  Modi had urged all the state CMs to give the people a step-by-step concession after the 3-day lockdown ends on April 7.

 To force people to maintain as much social distance as possible.  Be careful not to over-crowd the roads.  Modi objected to the states forming an exit policy after the lockdown. 

The states had sought suggestions on how much concessions people should make.  Modi said, "We have succeeded to some extent in curbing the spread of the corona but our fight is not over yet a long war is still to be played."  "Our main goal is to have the least number of deaths due to corona," he said.

 Amit Shah urges strict execution of lockdown

 Union Home Minister Amit Shah instructed all states to implement strict lockdown and adhere to the guidelines of the central government at the district level.  "The government is well-equipped to deal with the coroner after Nizamuddin Markaz," Health Secretary Priti Sudan said.  All steps are being taken to dismantle the transmission chain at the district level.  He asked the states to seek the help of NCC cadets.

 Suggested formation of Crisis Management Group

 Modi had asked the states to appoint a district surveillance officer to monitor the Crisis Management Group at the district level.

 WHO appreciates Modi's actions
 The WHO chief praised India's PM Modi's timely steps.  Appreciated the timely implementation of the lockdown.


 Testing, Tracing, Isolation and Quarantine Priority: Modi
 Modi said that the next few weeks are important for all of us for testing, tracing, isolation and quarantine.

 It is necessary to arrange the raw materials for making the necessary goods, medicines, medical devices, medicines and medical equipment.  Modi and government organizations appealed to the poor and ordinary police to help with the execution of the lockdown.  He called for quarantine by identifying people suffering from coronas after the coronary outbreak by the participants in the staged class.
