Increased MSP for kharif season 2022-23
Briefing reporters after the cabinet meeting, Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that the cabinet had approved additional MSP for the kharif season of 2022-23.
Increase in MSP of paddy from Rs. 100 per quintal to Rs. 2,040
Union Minister Anurag Thakur said the government has approved an increase in MSP of paddy from Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 2,040.
Rs 100 increase in support price of paddy
The Union Minister said that in a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Modi, it was decided to increase the MSP of a total of 17 crops, including 14 kharif crops. He said that the minimum support price of paddy for the crop year 2022-23 has been increased by Rs 100.

Sesame support price hiked by Rs 452
Sesame MSP has been increased the most. A total increase of Rs 452 has been made. With this, the MSP of sunflower has been increased by Rs 385.
How much increase in support price of which crop
The Union Minister said that the MSP for medium fiber cotton has been increased by Rs 354. Soybean support price has been increased by Rs 350. The support price of urad, groundnut and pigeon pea has been increased by Rs 300 per quintal. This time the MMP of maize is Rs 92 more than last year. Jowar has been increased by Rs 232 and mustard crop by Rs 201. It has been increased by Rs 100 on ordinary paddy and grade-A paddy
