Overview Of The Scheme

Since 1972, Gujarat implementation, Sardar Patel Awas Yojana is to give benefits to the people living in rural areas below the poverty line by providing them free plots scheme of house site of the State Government for landless agricultural labors village artisans. Since 1977 Sardar Patel Awas Yojana is the slogan of “free plot, free house” having assistance for the construction of houses on such allotted plot.

Formally for the Ordinary area prince of the house is Rs.20,000/- & for the Hilly area prince is Rs.22000/

 Now since 1st May 2001, making amendment price of raised to one unit of the house to Rs.43000/- which includes Rs.36000/- for assistant & Rs.7000/- for Labor contribution as per the Sardar Patel Awas Yojana.

 The Beneficiaries

Information about what and which benefits you will get in this scheme is given below

•  People from below the poverty line should get listed to the old income limit of Rs.11000/-
•  Government should do some necessary changes to the design of the house to sustain the earthquake proof.
•  The beneficiary should not have any plot on house in his name.
•  While making the house by Government scheme that should allow using cement hollow blocks, stone masonry, and burnt bricks.

To Get The Benefits Of Sardar Patel Awas Yojana Applicants Should Be

1. Similar persons are from below the poverty line of pastoral areas.

2. Has no plot or house in his name.

3. shouldn't have taken benefits of any other schemes.

4. similar aspirants having half/ one hectare of rinsed non–irrigated land are also eligible to get these benefits.

5. Still, either of them may mileage the benefit of the scheme, If hubby and woman live together and if there's a plot or house in the name of hubby or woman and living in the same vill for the last five times.

If a devisee is a native of the vill he should hold a card of the Below Poverty Line of that vill similar person should gain an instrument from the sarpanch of his native vill that “ this devisee has not taken advantage of Sardar Patel Awas Yojana in our vill. An instrument should be produced that there's no house in his name or in the name of his woman in his native place and they should fall in the description ofB.P.L

Houses Should Be

1.  Protect with iron rods provided on both the sides of openings of windows and doors
