Doomsday for the world? NASA spacecraft to collide with giant asteroids tomorrow, people worried

DART mission stands for Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART). The objective of this mission is for the spacecraft to collide with the asteroid and change its direction.

Date 27-09-2022 i.e. tomorrow Tuesday morning around five o'clock NASA 's DART Mission will attack Didymos and its moon - like rock Dimorphos. DART mission stands for Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART). The objective of this mission is for the spacecraft to collide with the asteroid and change its direction. If this NASA mission is successful, dangerous asteroids coming towards Earth in the future can be stopped or its direction can be changed. Tomorrow we are going to tell you about how NASA's Dart mission will work and what  will happen .

What is the Dart mission  The

Dart mission will go to Dimorphos and collide with Dimorphos, the moon of the asteroid Didymos. The direction of both will change due to the collision. If its direction changes then the mission will be successful. This spacecraft will collide with  the asteroid at a speed of about 24 thousand kilometers per hour.

What techniques are being used?

Let us know that before the collision, the atmosphere, soil and rock of the asteroid Didymos will be examined and the Kinetic Impactor Technique will be used in this mission.

What is the shape of an asteroid and its moon ?

Didymos has a total diameter of 2600 feet and Dimorphos orbits it. Its diameter is 525 feet.

Why NASA is doing this mission

NASA has recorded more than 8000 Near-Earth Objects (NEOs) around the Earth and some of them are more than 460 feet in diameter. If any one of these falls on Earth, it can completely destroy any single state of America.
Will not hit the earth for next 100 years

Although NASA has assured one thing that out of 8000 rocks orbiting the earth there is no chance of hitting the earth for next 100 years but nothing in space can be trusted. An asteroid's direction can change at any time due to motion, collisions and gravity or anything else.
