  • Accidental Death: It covers death due to accident within 365 days of the date of accident. The coverage limit is 100% of the sum assured.

  • Accidental Amputation and Paralysis: It covers amputation which is permanent in nature and occurs within 365 days of the date of accident.

  • Paralysis is the loss of the ability to move (and sometimes feel anything) in part or most of the body as a result of an injury.

  • Education Benefit: Full sum assured is payable in case of accidental death / permanent total disability. Benefit payable to an eligible child who is a full-time student in any institution.

  • Permanent Total Disability: It covers total disability which is permanent in nature and occurs within 365 days from the date of accident. The coverage limit is 100% of the sum assured.

  • Permanent Partial Disability: It covers partial disability which is permanent in nature and occurs within 365 days from the date of accident. The coverage limit is as per the % specified in the policy document.

Post Office Accident Insurance Scheme Detail (પોસ્ટ ઓફિસ અકસ્માત વીમા યોજના વિગતો) :-


1. Rs.10 lakh is paid in case of accidental death of the insured.


2. In case of permanent disability to the insured, Rs. 10 lakh is given.


3. Insurance Scheme Hospital Expenses Rs. 60 thousand provides.


4. Under this Post Office Accident Insurance Scheme for the education of the insured's child Rs. 1 lakh is given. (Maximum 2 children)


5. If the insured is admitted to hospital, Rs. per day for ten days till he is admitted. 1 thousand is paid.


6. OPD expenses of Rs.30000 are given to the policy holder.


7. Rs.10 lakh is given to the insured in case of paralysis.


8. Rs.25 thousand as travel expenses to the family of the insured person for traveling to the hospital.
