Objective of Dr. Ambedkar Awas Yojana:
Housing is to be provided in a phased manner as a time-bound program to the economically weaker sections of the Scheduled Castes and especially the homeless living below the poverty line. Assistance is paid in three installments of ₹.1,20,000 to persons having an open plot, completely raw mud, grass-covered, kuba type house which is uninhabitable and to construct a house above the first floor with the consent of the owner of the house. o Among them first installment – ₹.40,000 (with administrative approval order), o second installment – ₹.60,000 (after reaching lintel level) and o third installment – ₹.20,000 (on completion of construction including toilets) Are given
Who can benefit from Dr. Ambedkar Awas Yojana Gujarat 2022?
- In this scheme, the beneficiary must be a resident of the state.
- Housing is to be provided in a phased manner as a time-bound program to the economically weaker sections of the Scheduled Castes and especially the homeless living below the poverty line.
- Assistance is paid in three installments of ₹.1,20,000 to persons having an open plot, completely raw mud, grass-covered, kuba type house which is uninhabitable and to construct a house above the first floor with the consent of the owner of the house.
- Annual income should not exceed ₹.1,20,000 in rural area and ₹.1,50,000 in urban area.
How to get help?
- In Dr. Ambedkar Awas Yojana 2022, the beneficiaries will get a total assistance of 1 lakh 20 thousand.
- First installment ₹.40,000 (with administrative approval order)
- Second Installment ₹.60,000 (After Reaching Lintel Level)
- Third and final installment of ₹.20,000 (on completion of construction including toilets)
- Dr.Ambedkar Awas Yojana Eligibility Criteria
- Income Limit .1,20,000/- for Rural Area
- It has been decided to keep Rs.1,50,000/- for urban area.

- Aadhaar Card of the applicant
- Ration card of the applicant
- Example of caste/sub-caste of the applicant
- Example of applicant's gross annual income
- Proof of Residence (Any one of Electricity Bill/License/Lease Agreement/Electoral Card/Ration Card)
- Land Ownership Aadhaar/ Document/ Title Deed/ Title Deed/ Sanad Deed (as applicable)
- Copy of first page of Bank Passbook / Canceled Check (in applicant's name)
- Instance of death of husband (if widow)
- A copy of the map showing the area of the land on which the building is to be constructed, signed by (Talati-cum-Minister)

- Photo of open plot/ dilapidated building where building is to be constructed

- You can fill the Dr. Ambedkar Awas Yojana 2022 form only on the website of Social Welfare Department.
- First of all, you have to go to the official website of Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Gujarat
- The home page will open in front of you
- On the home page under the Citizen Login section, you must enter your user name
- ID, password and captcha code have to be entered.
- Now you have to click on login
- By following this process you can login to the portal
