Map of Kheda District

Kheda District Map : Kheda district derives its name from a town in the district called Kheda, which is situated on developed land at the confluence of Vatrak and Shedhi rivers. Ahmedabad District Map: Ahmedabad is the largest city in the state of Gujarat and the seventh largest urban agglomeration in India with a population of 74 m (7.4 million). The city is situated on the banks of Sabarmati river. The city is the administrative center of Ahmedabad district, and was the capital of Gujarat from the 1960s to the 1970s; Then the capital was shifted to Gandhinagar. The city was at the forefront of India's independence movement in the first half of the 20th century. It was the focus of many campaigns of civil disobedience to promote workers' rights, civil rights, and political freedom. By the time Damajirao Gaekwad descended on Kathiawar in about 1730, Amreli was held by three factions, the Kathis of the Jalia caste, some Syeds holding charters of land obtained from the Emperor of Delhi, and the Fajdar of Junagadh, a vassal of the Subana of Ahmedabad. Damajirao ransomed all of them. Thus the Maratha Sardar Damajirao Gaekwad established military bases at Areli and Lathi in AD 174-43. Sarba Vithalrao Devaji of Gaiwad remained in control of Kathiawad until 1800.

Anand District Map

Chhota udepur District Map: Chhotaudepur was the capital of Chhotaudepur Sansthan. The city was settled in 1743 by Rawal Udesinhji, a descendant of Patai Rawal of Champaner. The state was a first-class state within the Rewa Kantha range and acceded to independent India on March 10, 1948.

Jamnagar District Map: Jamnagar was founded in 1540 as the capital of the kingdom of Nawanagar. Jamnagar, historically known as Navanagar (New Town), was one of the most important Jadeja principalities in the Saurashtra region. According to Puranic literature, after migrating from Mathura, Lord Krishna established his kingdom at Dwarka village in Jamnagar district, and according to this, the ancestors of the Jam people of Navanagar belong to the Yadava caste.

Among the ancient names of Junagadh, it is also known as Karankuj, Manipur, Rivant, Chandrakumpur, Narendrapur, Girinagar and Puratanpur. 1820 AD after the British government gave the name Junagadh which is registered by the state and popular with the public. Even today, however, the villagers say that Junagadh was ruled according to different rules.


After 1472 Mahmud Begda, Khalil Khan, Muzaffar, Sikandar, Bahadursha and Ibadatn Khan ruled Junagadh between 1573 and 1748. Then various Babis/Nawabs ruled Junagadh till 1947. The last Nawab of Junagadh left Junagadh for Karachi on 9.11.1947 due to the attack of the Arzi government established by the population of Junagadh. Junagadh state was merged with Saurashtra state in 1949 AD. In 640, the Chinese traveler Hyun An Sung visited Junagadh.
