IPL 2020 Auction: How To Watch Live Auction : VIVO IPL Auction 2020 LIVE Hotstar

A total of 332 cricketers have been shortlisted from a pool of 997 registered players. The final list has been pruned after the eight franchises submitted their shortlist of players.

It's going to be a mini-auction for IPL 2020, the 13th season of the T20 league that comes after a busy period of trading in which several big names moved franchises.

Not surprisingly, no Indian player is in the highest reserve price bracket -- Rs 2 crore. Only Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Chris Lynn, Mitchell Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Dale Steyn and Angelo Mathews are in the highest bracket.

Robin Uthappa is the only Indian in the 2nd highest price bracket -- Rs 1.5 crore. 3 Indians are in the Rs 1 crore bracket and 9 Indians are in the Rs 50 Lakh bracket. All of them are capped players.

The VIVO IPL 2020 Player Auction list is out with a total of 332 cricketers set to go under the hammer in Kolkata on December 19th, 2019. While 997 players had initially registered, the final list has been pruned after the eight franchises submitted their shortlist of players.

With INR 2 crore as the highest reserve price, seven overseas players – Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Chris Lynn, Mitchell Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Dale Steyn & Angelo Mathews have opted to be slotted in the highest bracket.

Robin Uthappa is the only Indian player in the Auction list with a base price of INR 1.5 crore. Other Indian stars, Piyush Chawla, Yusuf Pathan & Jaydev Unadkat have set their base price at INR 1 crore.

Both Tambe and Brad Hogg have played in the IPL at the age of 45 – the record for the league’s oldest player so far.
On the other hand, Afghan chinaman spinner Noor Ahmad, at 14 years, could be the youngest to play in the IPL.
Prayas Ray Barman, at 16 years, became the youngest player in the IPL last season when Royal Challengers Bangalore played him last season.

The player auction for the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League is set to be held next week, with several big names to go under the hammer as franchises look to find the final pieces of the team-building puzzle. A total of 971 players (713 Indians and 258 overseas players) had registered for this year's IPL auction out of which only 332 have been shortlisted by franchises. The eight teams will look to fill 73 slots and maximum 29 overseas players can be picked. The IPL 2020 auction will be a one-day affair and foreign players are expected to be the biggest attraction.

When the Indian Premier League 2020 (IPL 2020) auction takes place in Kolkata on December 19, a total of 332 players will be in the fray for the 73 available spots across the eight IPL teams.

Of the 332, shortlisted from among the 997 players who registered, 186 are Indian, 143 overseas players and three from associate nations.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) has announced the list of 332 cricketers who will go under the hammer in the auction on December 19.

The franchise, led by veteran wicketkeeper-batsman MS Dhoni, has persisted with its philosophy of backing the same set of players. CSK, panned by some as ‘Daddy’s Army’, for most of their players are above the age of 35, have released David Willey, Scott Kuggeleijn, Sam Billings, Dhruv Shorey, Mohit Sharma, and Chaitanya Bishnoi. They have just five slots to fill through IPL 2020 auctions, and an available purse of Rs 14.60 crore.

The Vidarbha cricketers are among 332 cricketers set to go under the hammer in Kolkata on December 19. While 997 players had initially registered, the final list has been pruned after the eight franchises submitted their shortlist of players. A total of 186 Indian players, 143 overseas players and 3 players from associate nations will be up for grabs.
